We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent – want to join the ride? Wärtsilä Italia is looking for a Trainee for our team in Trieste to support the development of new tools and applications using Microsoft platforms.

The Trainee will support the team to further develop our capabilities in the Microsoft Power Platform that includes Power App, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI.

This will further boost our speed into the Continuous Improvement journey of our manual routines. The main activities are:Work directly with internal and external stakeholders including software developers to design and develop new Microsoft Power Platform solutions and applications. Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Participate in the development of advanced business intelligence tools by designing models and algorithms based on structured and unstructured data sources. Work closely with the quality health and safety manager to perform ad-hoc and recurring data analysis. Implement components of a solution that include application enhancements, custom user experience, system integrations, data conversions, and custom visualizations. The main requirements in this role are:Computer science, mathematics or software engineering background. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApp, Power BI, Teams, Planner). Good communication and presentation skills. Good level of English.
