**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
The Operational Readiness in the Technology Department is responsible for the management of the processes and activities that will allow us to deliver efficient and effective Technology operations.
This role is in charge of supporting planning, organizing and delivering the activities of the Games Technology Operational Readiness, including Technology Rehearsals, Test Events, Observer Programme, and Readiness exercises.
Main Responsibilities:
- Technology Rehearsals (TR)
Technology Rehearsals aim to practice and evaluate the Technology operational support model that is intended to be applied during Games time: they are designed to test the teams, processes, and communications in the face of adversity, simulating the greatest degree possible a Games time environment responding to hypothetical adverse situations (so called, scenarios).
- TR Scenarios: contribute to the production and the scheduling of scenarios, working closely with all Games Technology teams.
- TR Management Tool: manage the tool and supporting the effective collection of feedback from TRs participants.
- TR Logistics: coordinate the selection, communication, preparation and logistics of the workforce involved in the TR.
- Test Events (TEV)
Occurring between 1 year and 3 months before the Games, test events are sport events (such as a World Cup) that enable MiCo 2026 to validate venues/infrastructure, technology, services, process and people in a live event environment. The primary aim is to validate and refine critical elements of delivery before the Games.
- TEV participation matrix: collaborate in the definition of what needs to be tested and who needs to be involved in every TEV, collaborating closely with all Games Technology teams and different Functional Areas
- TEV Risk Management Plan: identify potential risks and develop contingency strategies to address challenges that may arise during the planning phase.
- Knowledge Sharing: collect insights and lessons learned from TEV, create documentation, and follow up action, monitoring and facilitating the improvement implementation by all stakeholders involved.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience, focusing primarily on techology program management.
- Educational qualification: at least Bachelor's degree.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with people from different areas and different management levels.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Quick learning aptitude and adaptability to rapidly changing work settings.
- Enthusiasm for a mission-driven approach, uniting people, and contributing to a better world through sports.
- Comfort working effectively in situations with ambiguity.
- Ability to drive outcomes in complex, dynamic, and fast-paced scenarios.
- A strong cultural awareness and a curiosity-driven global perspective.
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel as necessitated.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and Italian languages.
