Information Technology Project Manager – Migration to MS Dynamics 365Client ContextThe client is a French pharmaceutical laboratory headquartered in Île-de-France (78).

The company has expanded into several therapeutic fields, mainly through external growth.

Recently, it acquired another company, effectively doubling its size.

This transformation is driven by the company's new CEO. The combined group now generates over €500 million in revenues, with 65% of its operations conducted outside of France across more than 100 countries.

The company employs over 2, 200 people worldwide.

By 2027, the group aims to exceed €600 million in revenues and strengthen its position as a global leader in consumer healthcare. Mission's ObjectivesAs part of the deployment of the Company's MS Dynamics 365 – Finance module in Italy, our client wishes to rely on a local expert familiar with the local VAT and other Italian fiscal regulations in force. Under the supervision of both the IT Directorate at the parent company in France and the local IT team, the consultant's expertise on D365 will allow it to support local teams in the deployment of companywide standard modules (as well as any reporting needs for the local finance teams). Standard modules include:Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) – includes maintenance and lifecycle management of physical assetsSuppliers eInvoicingIntrastat TemplatesBill of Exchange (BOE)The consultant will document these activities, deploy the appropriate settings on the environment made available, support the business in carrying out tests, and will be responsible for delivering the data package to the IT Directorate/CIO. Consultant's Responsibilities outlinedThe consultant will act as a "Finance Italy MS Dynamics 365" expert:Documentation:Log each action to be performed in the system and execute it according to the specific responsibilities of each financial team within the finance department. Document functional specifications, test scenarios, and help write out any supporting materials to enhance the autonomy of the Italian teams. Configuration:Perform configurations on the test environment (i. e.

setting up and adjusting system settings, parameters, and rules in a controlled testing environment before these are deployed in the production environment)Deliver L. O. V.

(List of Values) at the end of each projectDeliver data packages to deploy the configurations on the PRODUCTION environment (i. e.

preparing, packaging, and transferring configuration data from a development or staging environment to the production environment)Tests:Support the various responsibilities within the Finance department during the test phaseSought Consultant's Profile for this MissionSkills & Experience6 to 15 years of experience in project management on MS Dynamics 365. Deep understanding of the finance module and VAT management in MS Dynamics 365. Ability to engage directly with the IT Directorate in France (including the CIO) as well as with the local IT Manager. Very good knowledge of the Italian finance requirements around accounting and payments:Italian VAT reporting, filing, and paymentsItalian various tax reporting, filing, and paymentsItalian best practices when it comes to managing billing and suppliers' payments within an IT systemProven track record in the deployment of Italian projects in finance and accounting ideally within a multi-site deployment. Soft Skills & International PresenceExcellent communication skills (both orally and in writing). Ability to clearly explain technical and business challengesSome leadership skills, with autonomy in project management. Strong organization skills and excellent rigor when conducting projects. LanguagesItalian: C2 level (mandatory, deployment in Milan). English: C1-C2 level (mandatory for communication with international teams). French or another European language: A plus. Contract DetailsStart Date: March 2025 (or April 2025 for the right consultant)Duration: 3-month contract (with a high probability of extension beyond the initial period)Location: Milan (inner-city): presence required 5 days/week initially – may evolve with time if client allows it. Long Term OutlookThe company aims to streamline its IT service consultants (currently working with 3-4 outside IT consultants) and potentially internalize key or at least specific roles.

There is potential for the consultant to be recruited by the client in the long run, depending on performance and company strategy and agreement on terms.
