Information Technology Project Manager
Role Summary The Project Manager role focusses on completing a project efficiently and promptly, managing a number of client requirements.
This will include coordination, completion against required deliverables, delivering within budget and scope.
The Project Manager will lead a virtual team, overseeing all aspects: Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring / reporting on the progress of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities Leading project planning.
Coordinating with internal resources.
Managing project progress & adapt work as required.
Ensuring projects meet deadlines.
Managing relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
Designing risk mitigation plan.
Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
Optimizing / improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
Commercial Governance – Ensure the cost & revenue are in line with projections.
Key Performance Indicators Customer Satisfaction.
Setting the stakeholders (internal & external) expectations correctly at the start of the project and maintain the same during project lifecycle.
Complete the project within committed timelines and meet client expectations.
Maintain records of all important communications & ensure inventory is updated correctly.
Plan for smooth handover to assurance team for 24x7 monitoring within 24hrs of service going live.
Delivery against budget.
Billing triggered correctly throughout and on time.
Qualification & Experience Educational / Academic Qualification Fluent in Italian & English language Degree level education Professional Certifications / Additional Qualification Project Management (Prince 2, PMP etc. )
ITIL v3 or v4 Experience (Min.
years) 5 years' experience in Project Management & Service Delivery 5 years' experience in Managed Services industry Skills : Extensive hands-on experience in producing Project Plan using MS Project.
Excellent knowledge on Excel.
Good Knowledge on Word, Power Point Presentation, Visio.
Must be customer oriented with fair knowledge in terms of Networking, Telecom Technologies, Products and Services Must have good research skills, should be an out-of-box thinker.
Complex problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), documentation and presentation skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work under challenging situations.
In the previous experience should have demonstrated ability to lead complex discussions with customers.
Effective team player, ability to initiate and establish good relationships with internal partners Operations, Facilities, products / Solutions Engineering, and other Engineering team members Should have the ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
Ability to think around complicated logistical problems.
Demonstrate an astute commercial acumen
