About the role:Reporting into the Director of IT you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the property. What will you do:Ensure effective support, ensure critical systems are available, establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systemsProvide systems administration including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentationServer infrastructure management, performance monitoring, operating system upgrades and troubleshootingParticipate in technology implementations, contributing to technology capital and operating budgetsProvide direct guest support along with support to function rooms and conference servicesWhat you bring:A technical background, MSCE or strong networking skills, education and/or experience supporting complex networksAbility to assist the Director of IT with the day to day coordination of the IT departmentAn understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls, and ideally have familiarity with hotel quality and service standards with a strong commitment to serviceStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teamsProactive and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, and strategic thinking skillsFluency in English and ItalianWhat we offer:Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits packageExcellent Training and Development opportunitiesComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee UniformsMeals available at our Employee RestaurantEmployee Experience initiatives: from annual themed employee party to many ESG events throughout the yearEmployee Recognition ProgramsOpportunities to build a successful career with global potentialSchedule Hours:This is a full-time positionThis position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal.
