Job Title: IT Support Specialist / Desktop Support Specialist Country : Italy City: Via San Pietro, 1, 41037 Mirandola MO, Italy Duration: 12 month Minimum up to 3 year (with the Possibility of extension based on performance) Start Date: Immediate Number of Open Position : 2 Experience (Yrs. ) : 2 to 3 Language Skills : Italian (At Least B2), English (At Least B2) Pre-Requisite: Must have right to work in Italy in full time Role Job Description; We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Onsite Support Engineer to join our team in Italy. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support to our users by resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth IT operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMACD) of hardware and software. Act as a key point of contact for EUS onsite teams, managing SLAs effectively and leading the team to success. Provide exceptional break-fix support for hardware, software, and mobility issues. Manage backup tape rotations, tape library systems, and coordinate server reboots. Ensure proper provisioning, configuration, and delivery of IT equipment, supporting both office-based and remote users. Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, VOIP phones, and other peripherals. Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee desktop imaging, security patching, and ensure all devices meet configuration standards. Provide sales support during business hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Technical Skills Expertise in Windows 10 and Apple devices support, including: BitLocker encryption, configuration, crash/BSOD resolution, and general troubleshooting. Experience with AirWatch for Apple devices and iOS troubleshooting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and O365 support. Familiarity with endpoint management tools like SCCM/Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including basic network troubleshooting, wired/wireless connectivity, and switch management. Experience with desktop/laptop hardware replacements, peripheral installations, and system imaging. Good understanding of Mac OS and mobile device troubleshooting (preferred). Soft Skills Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in a user-friendly manner. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing based on urgency.
