What you'll doAs part of the European Vodafone Network Operation (VNO) Organization and included into Cloud&OSS department, Infra & OS Technical Coordinator is the activities's accountable for operation & maintenance of Infrastructure and Operating System in Network Ops environment (Sysadmin and Fast Delivery) for ItalyWho you areMain responsibilities Change Management: Manage and execute changes, providing assistance in new projects during all stages, including design, planning, delivery, assessment, operation and maintenance Incident Management: Performing troubleshooting and error handling for , Database and HW infrastructure layers until issue definitive resolution within the agreed SLA.

The aim is to minimize the service outages due to any reason, with the highest quality in the incident resolution. Problem management: avoid repetitive incidents, identify and solve the root causes.

If needed, engage external stakeholders and lead the final implementation of the solution to the problem. Guarantee the required security obligations across the entire perimeter of the platforms under its responsibility (Security activities patching, vulnerability, hardening) according to the best practices and company proceduresPeriodic monitoring of platforms, performance tuning, capacity planning and trend analysisTeam Working oriented approach and ability to work across multi-functional boundariesDecision-making & Problem-solving skills and attitude to manage emergency situations to deliver results and improve performanceManaging and supporting a mixed environment of Windows, RedHat, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux and the others Operating Systems most used and db OracleGood knowledge of automation solutions (Ansible, Big Fix, Git, Python)Key performance indicators:Build good relationship with stakeholders Stimulate the synergies, harmonization and consolidation activities inside the Network OperationEnsure network evolution plans and new service introductionService availability and quality with fast reaction time to incidentsReduction in incidents caused by changeMust have technical / professional qualifications: University degree: faculty of Computers, Telecommunications or Information TechnologyExperience in Telecommunication on similar positionGood communication skills, Italian and English (spoken and written)
