**Purpose of the job**:
The Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator is a member of Technical team.
His main purpose is to build and manage infrastructure replacement plans and ensure reliable delivery of projects.
In this role, they coordinate purchasing and suppliers to ensure that all on-site maintenance is carried out correctly, including scheduling, documentation, use of the supplier portal, etc.
**Summary of your responsibilities**:
Take care that all infrastructure, roads, yard, parking lots and docks in Logistics Platform and General Cargo area will be maintained in line with Italian laws, supplier specifications, HHLA PLT Italy standards and requirements arising from the intended use.
Establish preventive maintenance plans and take care that such plans are implemented in the most efficient and effective way through capable supplier.
Perform periodic inspections on the condition of facilities and systems by resolving related problems, damages or other inherent issues.
Give inputs for extraordinary maintenance plans planned over the next 4 years.
Ensure that extraordinary maintenance projects are executed on time and within the approved budget, with:
- Correct drawings and plans
- Port authority clearance
- Approval of the budget
- Documentation and safety measures following Italian law.
Work with the correct documentation and relevant safety procedures
Searching for suppliers for the purchase of maintenance products, materials, and services, including the preparation of contracts for works and maintenance plans.
Collaborate with Purchasing department for emission of Purchase Orders, following up until Goods Receipt
Ensure ongoing compliance with quality control standards.
Evaluate procedures and make recommendations for their improvement.
Continuously improve the efficiency and results of the work performed by maintenance providers.
Coordinate contacts to include the design process and follow up with third parties for approval.
Communicate with third parties (Ministry of Health, Port Authority ) for the necessary approvals and processes and collaborate with consultants where required.
Comply with all safety and security rules and regulations, setting a good example.
**What you bring to the table**:
**Education & Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, supervising projects.
Experience (5+ years) in managing formal/technical documents and regulatory approvals (permits).
**Technical Skills & Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position)**:
Good English and Italian (German is a plus).
Basic skills in AutoCAD.
Thorough understanding of architectural of civil and safety guidelines.
Able to perform several ongoing construction projects.
**Behavioral Competences Required (e. g. , organizational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.
)**:

**Language Requirements**:
Written and spoken English.
**Other Requirements**:
Valid EU work permit.
Willing to relocate to Trieste at short notice.
