Posting Date: 25 Sep 2024 City: Rozzano Location: Rozzano, IT, 20089 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Infrastructure Mobility Research Innovation Level of experience: Junior RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Research Innovation Consultant to join its office in Milan, Italy within the Infrastructure Mobility Research Innovation Division.
Mission RINA is looking for a Proposal and Project Manager in Research Innovation, to be based in our offices Genoa or Milan.
The candidate will refer to the Research Innovation Unit of the Infrastructures Mobility Business Unit and will have strong interactions with other homologous functions across the different Business Lines in RINA.
The selected candidate will join a young and dynamic environment, in which research and innovation is a cornerstone of the overall development strategy.
As such he/she will have the opportunity to provide a relevant contribution to the development of RI strategies and activities as well as to impact the development of new offerings and businesses of the Business Unit.
He/she will have the opportunity to increase his/her professional and personal skills and competences, building on the hands-on experience in multidisciplinary projects and acting as technical focal point for his/her own areas of expertise.
Key Accountabilities Main tasks: To contribute to the performance of the Research Innovation Unit in terms of new opportunities creation, in the Infrastructures sector (road, rail, water, ports, airports, etc.
), specifically by: Maintaining the current network and partners Networking to identify prospect partners to be engaged in RI activities Identifying the most likely RI opportunities Scouting of partners and calls Creating proposal ideas and concepts Supporting in the definition of consortia, demos, and proposal writing To contribute to the performance of the Research Innovation Unit in terms of Project Management in RI projects the Infrastructures sector, specifically by: Coordinating the RINA team involved in the RI project Ensuring the timely submission of deliverables, according to RINA quality standards Autonomy in work planning and decision making Cooperating with the colleagues of the BU and of the other Bus involved in the technical activities Coordinating the transfer of the RI results to the OU of the BU Infrastructure, so that to improve and boost the service offering of the BU To contribute to the performance of the Research Innovation Unit, by developing innovation activities in the Infrastructure Sector, being roads, rails, water, etc.
systems, by: Mapping of internal competences Identifying innovation and business-related opportunities and follow-up them Defining of new/improved services and supporting the BU to transfer to the market these innovative or improved services Participating to proposals/offering both at national and international level dealing with innovation or where innovative approaches, solutions, concepts might lead to a competitive advantage for the Business.
Education Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering Qualifications Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Expertise in at least one of the following topics: infrastructures design/planning, resilience of infrastructures, infrastructures integrity, sustainability of infrastructures, digital tools to provide decision support in infrastructure management Previous experience in co-funded research projects and programs (e. g.
Horizon Europe, National Funds, PNRR research funds, overseas programmes, etc.
