Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

**Your Role and Responsibilities

As Infrastructure Specialist of Red Hat Platform, you must know how to migrate and manage a project on a cloud environment, especially, in the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

Moreover, as migration engineer you must know how to manage the IT infrastructure and to analyse the impact of a migration at the Red Hat OCP infrastructure level.

In these years a lot of company ask to migrate they on-premises infrastructure on more modern kind of environment and so this is the opportunity to manage a complex migration project on OCP platform. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, bringing innovation into enterprise systems.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Minimum 2 years of Red Hat Open Shift Container

- Robust competencies about configuration management (preferably ansible or puppet)

- Robust competencies about container orchestrator (preferably openShift or kubernates)

- Robust competencies about container (preferably docker)

- Strong competencies about Cloud, hybrid Cloud, multi-Cloud infrastructure solution design patterns

- Strong knowledge of network, storage, and monitoring systems for Red Hat OCP

- Experience on OCP migration or migration to public cloud (AWS, Azure)

- Ability to organize and structure project teams

- Ability to produce high-quality documentation about solution design

- Intermediate knowledge of English language

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Are very appreciated:

- Certifications in a public Cloud platform (e. g. , Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud)

- Certifications in orchestration platforms (e. g. , Kubernetes, RH OpenShift)

- Competencies about Infrastructure as Code

- Experience working in an Agile software development environment

Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
