Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a Mechanical Test Facility Engineer, for an aerospace client based in Rome. The job holder will have the following main tasks:execution of mechanical test (in particular Acoustic Test) and perform pre/post-test requirements verification; manage HW Procurement; support technical office to mechanical test Special Equipment design and Procurement and provide support in anomalies resolution of Test Means; plan and keep updated overall test operations (set-up/test/set down); support the technical definition on Proposals for bidding, R&D/Competitiveness Projects and Investments. Also required is knowledge in the following areas:good knowledge of mechanical test facilities (DFAN, electrodynamic shakers, mass measurement machines) and mechanical HW used for test (loudspeakers, microphones, accelerometers, strain gauges, ); good knowledge of SW control, acquisition and post processing; good knowledge of space system and SSs; good knowledge of standard ECSS. Requirements:master degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering; good knowledge of English in writing and speaking; availability to work in shifts; availability to work during bank holidays seasons; availability to work on weekends.
