NoOffer DescriptionDevelopment of innovative biomaterials as effective Drug Delivery Systems (DDSs) for drug release to the nervous system.
Biomaterials engineered with targeting elements and/or stimuli-responsive units will act as a technological platform for the specific treatment of rare pediatric diseases of the nervous system.
The project activities will include the physical-chemical and technological characterization of new DDSs and the entrapment of multiple therapeutic agents able to stimulate or inhibit specific metabolic pathways in the target tissue.
The main objective of the project is the identification of an innovative platform with a good safety profile able to cross biological barriers and to release repurposing drugs into the target biological site. Comparative evaluation will ascertain the candidate#39;s preparation, experience, and aptitude for research.
It consists of the evaluation of the presented qualifications and an interview related to the discussion of the qualifications themselves with an in-depth study of the topics of particular scientific relevance connected to the research programme and verification of the foreign language proficiency indicated in the attachment A to this public announcement.
