Insar Data Analyst
InSAR Data Analyst (Remote, Full-Time)Company Overview EO59 specializes in providing satellite InSAR data-based services, delivering advanced earth observation solutions through interferometric synthetic aperture radar technology. Role Description We are seeking a full-time InSAR Data Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity, focusing on data production and quality control of satellite-based interferometric analyses.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Key Responsibilities * Process and analyze satellite InSAR data to deliver high-quality deformation measurements, ensuring accuracy and reliability of the final products through rigorous quality control procedures.
* Perform comprehensive quality assessments of InSAR processing results to maintain data integrity.
* Develop and implement standardized workflows for InSAR data processing, optimizing production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot processing challenges and contribute to the improvement of existing methodologies.
* Participate in occasional business travel, particularly to our facility in Estonia (EU), for team collaboration, training, or project requirements. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Geology, Physics, or related technical field with strong analytical capabilities.
* Solid understanding of remote sensing principles, particularly SAR and InSAR technologies and their applications.
* Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including QGIS, for spatial data analysis and visualization.
* Ability to travel globally when required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with InSAR processing software, particularly SARPROZ * Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar languages * PhD in relevant field * Previous experience in satellite data processing and analysis (particularly InSAR) * Background in Earth Observation or geospatial technologiesSkills Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills to explain technical concepts * Organization and time management skills * Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a remote environmentWork Environment * Full-time position * Remote work arrangement * Occasional travel required to Estonia and potentially other global locations * Flexible working hours with consideration for different time zones * Virtual collaboration with international team members
