Inside Sales
Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing assigned customers according to the instructions given by the Packaging Sales Group Coordinator.
He/she is responsible for managing customer relationships in accordance with company policies in order to achieve the sales targets set.
**Responsibilities**:
- He/she is responsible for the sales and margin of the customers assigned to him/her.
- He/She is responsible for the correct entry of orders into the system
- He/She is responsible for entering and updating customer master data
- He/She is responsible for maintaining customer relationships
- He/She is responsible for collecting data on his/her clients' transactions
- He/She is responsible for finding new customers for the carton division.
Main activities
- He/She is responsible for sourcing new customer opportunities.
- Implements the sales budget of his/her customers according to the Packaging Sales Manager's guidelines.
- Executes all activities aimed at successfully closing the opportunities created in order to maximise profit margin.
- He/She continuously monitors the sales and margin performance of his/her customers.
- Contacts the clients entrusted to him/her on a continuous basis.
- He/She captures the needs of the clients and tries to solve them with a high consultative approach.
- He/She conducts market surveys of his/her clients to obtain business related information.
- He/She keeps abreast of the market by identifying competing companies and products.
- Enters the data collected from the surveys into the system.
- Checks the existence and correctness of customer data and proceeds to data entry in case of a new customer.
- Analyses availability requests, verifies customer's ability to pay and feasibility in terms of material availability, delivery date and impact on waste.
- Assists the customer at the order entry stage, suggesting alternative solutions where necessary and negotiating directly with the customer where appropriate.
- Cares for any problems related to the order.
- Enters all non-conformities of the client into the system and updates them as developments occur.
- Searches for new clients using available company tools.
- Initiates contact with new clients by presenting the company's offer.
- Inserting purchase requests based on customer orders.
