We are looking for an Apprentice for Digital Sales Channel, in Milan within the Digital Industry, Sales Areas **.
** He / She will be responsible for the sale of the whole Digital Industry portfolio and part of the Smart Infrastructure portfolio (low voltage products), who will be trained in **2 years** as **Inside Sales Professional.
The Digital sales channel was recently set-up inside our sales organization.
Acting as an Inside Sales, it identifies, nurtures and converts prospects remotely, supported by several digital instruments to enhance the development of the business.

**Your Challenge
As **Inside Sales Professional** some of your main activities will be:
- Acts like a Sales Representative, but in general without customer visits (Inside Sales).
- Responsibility to develop the sales volume with assigned customer, driving their purchases through the Siemens web shop SiePortal
- Provides information to customers and/or general sales.
- Analyses customers' needs and may efficiently support their decision-making process.
- Act as a "trust-in-person" contact to spot opportunities and prospects, pre-qualifies customer contacts by remote customer contacts.
- Drive dedicated digital enabled actions along the customer journey.
- Reports to Digital Business Sales Manager
- Investigates and pre-qualifies customer contacts / leads based on data analysis or remote customer contact
**Required entry qualifications**:
- You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
- You are fresh graduate in Engineering, Automation or you have a Technical High School Diploma
- Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge.
- Achievement/ goal oriented, Driven, Self-motivated, focused.
- Natural curiosity to collaborate with others and ask questions, comfortable with ambiguity; highly adaptable to new circumstances.
- Exhibits empathy for other's problems and challenges.
- Ethical, Passionate, Self-aware, Great teammate who is coachable, prone to continue learning - to advance their career or move into a field position.
- Ability to articulate relevant value messaging across various buying roles (user, technical, financial decision maker, CXO, influencer)
- Italian mother language and fluent in English.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication abilities, Problem solving, Pipeline/forecast management, Time management, Territory planning.
- General knowledge of drive techniques, electric motors, motion control, PLC.
- Strong orientation to reach the targets, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
- Eligibility to work in Italy.
