Inside Sales Support
About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Support associate to join us in Milan, Italy.
In this role, you will support the Key Account Manager throughout the sales process for new business and renewals, working with the main and largest Italian companies, and with a particular focus on economic, contractual, and administrative aspects of that process.
You will coordinate with the customer and Red Hat's internal structures to generate proposals, offers, contracts, record orders, and manage collections.
You will have the responsibility to update internal systems and the customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
In agreement with the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for specific campaigns or sales actions directly with the customer.
What you will do:
- Position and sell Red Hat renewals within your assigned accounts
- Support your account manager by providing quotes and pricing and responding to sales inquiries
- Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using standard CRM tools
- Schedule appointments and other activities as requested by your field sales account manager
- Note all sales-related information in our customer contact database and schedule follow-up activities
- Work with Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure all necessary information is provided
- Build customer relationships and suggest business solutions considering the customer's needs and Red Hat's best interest
- Engage on a regular basis with customers as well as local partners or global system integrator (GSI), and work closely with account team and inside sales counterparts
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position, including outside, inside, telesales, or sales administration, with a record of achieving or contributing to sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management
- High-quality customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working on your own to close high-value deals over the phone
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with reporting, spreadsheets, and office tools
- Fluent English and Italian language skills
