We are looking for a Installation Design Engineer who will be in charge of:

Preparing and executing installation design activities – drawings, documentation, specification, method statements - in support of one or more bids and projects in conformance with Alstom and ADM policies, standards and applicable regulations (including local regulations, professional standards, EHS, language translations); Ensuring that the documentation delivered is in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local regulation; Reporting to the Installation Engineering Leader / PrIM on any anomalies versus the reference library and/or the local standard and proposing any improvement/potential evolution of the reference library.

Knowledge and experience: Good knowledge of railway signalling and possibly also related technologies; Knowledge of construction techniques; Good communication skills, interpersonal relationship and team working attitude; Spirit of initiative and good skills in executive problems; Knowledge of railway safety rules.

Work location: Bologna / Florence / Rome
