Location:Columbia, South CarolinaDuties:Handle a variety of insurance defense cases, including coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and liability issues. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations. Manage and organize cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures. Conduct legal research and maintain current knowledge of insurance laws and regulations. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance matters. Requirements:Experience in insurance defense or insurance-related litigation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet strict deadlines. Strong organizational and case management skills. Experience in court appearances, depositions, and legal negotiations. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Education & Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the South Carolina Bar or eligibility to obtain membership. Certifications:South Carolina Bar Admission (Required). Skills:Knowledge of insurance defense and related litigation. Proficiency in legal research and writing. Excellent courtroom and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
