Internal Communication Manager
The Internal Communication Manager , based in Catania, will support the inST Italy Regional Head Internal Communication, in the development of internal communications and employee engagement activities aimed at spreading the company culture and vision, as well as in delivering of internal Business communication strategy.
Within this role, you will be part of the Global Internal Communications team, with a focus on developing and delivering internal communication strategies and contents for Catania site.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with inST Italy Regional Head, ensuring the organization's mission, values, initiatives, and people news are communicated in a regular, considered, effective and engaging way.
Transforms communication strategy into operational plans relying on different channels and medias.
Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
Manage and create engaging content for the internal communications channels (intranet, email, Yammer, SharePoint, com kits, …) and regularly evaluate the efficiency of the channels used, making continuous improvements.
Manage the planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person events, town halls/communication meetings and regional/corporate events.
Delivers stakeholders with customized digital workplace support (webcasts, videos, O365 tools…) adapted to each target audience.
Audits and measures effectiveness of communications.
Expertise Required
Wide ranging practical experience in Communications, from 5 to 8 years – internal and external, use of multiple communication channels, measuring impact and technical knowledge of the communication systems
Project Management Expertise translating Communication strategy into operational plans with measurable outcomes and fast feedback loops
Experience in a communications team, especially internal communication, for a large organization, working with colleagues in multiple locations and across time zones.
Proven ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal audiences.
Communication
Excellent communication skills – able to communicate in a wide range of styles, appropriate to different individuals, groups, and situations
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees
Analytical skills for interpreting multiple sources of data metrics and content to produce executive summaries and communication collateral.
Understanding of various channels of internal communication in a hybrid and digital environment.
Skills
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
High level of creativity and innovation. Journalistic/content writing.
Strong team ethic, team-player who can establish positive relationships and work effectively and collaboratively with individuals across the organization and at all levels.
Ability to effectively plan and manage work, respond to conflicting demands on an urgent and ad-hoc basis and prioritize workload appropriately.
