We are looking for our Internal Communication Professional (Global Flexible location), someone who is eager to support our growth ambitions and would like to play a key role in the Communications & Branding Team.
This is a great opportunity for a driven professional who wants to take a key role by driving all strategic and operative communication activities to the organization, by delivering a good understanding of business direction, priorities, objectives, vision, and core values.
Work to leverage employee commitment and engagement through world-class communication planning and activities.
Ensure operational excellence in communication whilst developing and coordinating lines of communication within and from the organization (via the maintenance and development of the intranet, or physical methods of communications at production units without digital reach)
A crucial part of the role is the strong collaboration with all functions within Dormer Pramet, and with Sandvik Group and Sandvik Machining Solutions to safeguard and leverage company brand(s) and company reputation.
Key Performance Areas
Internal communications strategy
- Develop a global internal communications strategy to support a high employee engagement target and keep all employees informed
- Manage Intranet platform content
- Drive editorial content calendar securing best-in-class quality in our internal communications, as well as in our processes and internal brand presence
- Support stakeholders/internal customers in creating effective structures for communication (channels, ways of communicating, and frequency).
- Develop and provide training in communication policies, frameworks, and supporting tools
Internal communication dashboard & performance optimization
- Set internal comms KPIs, measure, and follow up, with a data-driven approach based on performance analysis.
Evaluate return on investment in communications activities.
- Co-create and manage internal comms activity dashboard
Management communications
- Manage communications updates & touchpoints with the organization - Intranet news, blog, Monthly webinars, Quarterly webinars, town hall meetings, company conferences
- Increase management visibility & deliver activities to communicate the strategy across the organisation
Change communications
- Change management comms across the organization when needed
- Develop & drive detailed comms plans to address changes
- Develop & execute crisis comms procedure
Regular employee updates & content management
- Develop a network of communicators and education on content writing, the sharing of best practices
- Support Production Units with relevant messaging systems and signage needed to promote overall messages in a physical format
- Create & manage monthly newsletters (where 100% digital reach is not available)
About You
We're looking for someone who has proven strong organizational skills in previous assignments in a truly global setting.
You're both a planner and a doer, with a positive attitude and a natural talent for networking and communicating with people from different cultures and settings.
You enjoy working in an ever-changing environment.
**Profile**:
- University degree with a specialization in Communications, or similar.
- Ability to think strategically in a multinational organisation.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, internationally distributed colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be fluent in English
- Deep understanding of internal and change communications strategy, methodology, and measurement
- Strong digital and creative skills, delivering professional and polished end products and presentations, working with tools in an Office 365 environment.
- Communications experience within a commercial, customer-centric organization - and an understanding of how employee experience relates to customer experience
- Project management expertise to be able to drive multiple activities at once
