Internal Communications Manager
Job Description: As a key member of the regional Corporate Affairs team, this position will be responsible for engaging and inspiring Pet Nutrition Europe (PNE) Associates through strategic business communications.
PNE has recently gone through a significant transformation, integrating 36 countries and 600 new Associates into our business.
Ensuring our diverse group of Associates has clarity and confidence in our strategy and feels responsible to play their role in delivering it is vital to our success.
This role is responsible for developing and deploying best-in-class internal communications (leveraging digital tools) to deliver this and build our One PNE community.
What are we looking for?
You will have experience across internal and/or external communications.
You will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with fluent English verbal and written capability.
You will have gained experience in change management and approach challenges with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity to prioritize business needs.
You will be able to work independently.
You will have strong business acumen and work well with a range of stakeholders.
What will be your key responsibilities?
You will engage all Mars PNE Associates in the regional priorities of the business to increase engagement and clarity.
You will be proactive in creating polished and highly professional communication materials, including communications to our leadership group and general Associate population.
You will own the development and execution of the regular drumbeat of internal communications, planning for townhalls, leadership group calls, in-person meetings/events, and written communications as needed.
You will use the full range of communication channels available to reach audiences in the right place at the right time, leveraging digital tools for scale, modernity and efficiency.
You will be responsible for the Townhall and other events, so will be required to draft key messages and coach leaders to ensure strong delivery so that our leaders build trust, clarity and confidence amongst audiences.
You will collaborate seamlessly with the cross-geography and cross-segment colleagues to elevate the awareness for PNE (and our milestone achievements), to learn best practices and to enhance the context shared with PNE Associates.
You will partner with third parties such as event management providers, film crews and production teams to ensure high-quality delivery of communications materials.
You will own organizational announcement drafts for the PNE Leadership Team, cascades and processes.
You will manage SharePoint and Teams Channels to house materials and empower others through access to consistent materials.
