For our Procurement Head Office in Italy, we are looking for a **International Category Manager Solar Tech/Charging Tech & Batteries/B2C Heating

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for executing all operational sourcing activities for the assigned international categories which includes but is not limited to:

- Manage the operational sourcing process from demand/market analysis, RFI, RFPs, Negotiations, Contracting and Supplier Implementation in close collaboration with key stakeholders

- Functionally reporting into International Category Leaders Solar Technology/Charging Technology & Batteries/B2C Heating

- Disciplinary reporting line to Head of Procurement Italy/Croatia/Slovenia

- Develop category and sub-category expertise in collaboration with E. ON technical experts and relevant stakeholders with the E. ON group

- Support definition of E. ON's sourcing strategy for the assigned international categories incorporating regional requirements and needs

- Responsible for the implementation of the international category strategy in close alignment with stakeholders

- Act as a constructive sparring partner to the respective business as well as E. ON market interface towards suppliers

- Capture stakeholder demands and requirements including tender planning

- Manage the respective supplier market in terms of opening new and competitive supply channels, development and standardization of suppliers (including international sourcing and best cost countries sourcing)

- Drive TCO optimization and contribute to product/service rationalization

- Manage Supply Risk and take appropriate corrective actions

- Contribute to identifying and achieving the savings and value targets for the assigned categories through appropriate levers including costing techniques

- Ensure supplier performance through KPI measurement and monitoring and conducting regular performance reviews for key suppliers

- Guide and support stakeholders with any contract implementation, contract management or supplier related issue

**Requirements**:

- Relevant academic degree (Master or equivalent) or similar education/apprenticeship

**Experience**:

- Ideally 4-5 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement roles for global categories

- Experience in implementing global category strategies

- Experience in working within cross-site and international category teams

- Experience in dealing with various stakeholders and demand carriers

- Experience in regional and international supplier relations

- Ideally experience in an intercultural working environment

**Capabilities**:

- Technical understanding to translate requirements into procurement specifications

- Ideally knowledge (suppliers, markets, trends) in the categories Solar Techology/ Charging Technology & Batteries/ B2C Heating

- Excellent analytical and communication skills combined with a structured and independent working style

- Entrepreneurial understanding, orientation towards customers and results

- Negotiation skills

- Strong team player who is comfortable with conflicts

- Positive attitude towards change processes

- Sound knowledge of MS Office programmes and SAP

- Knowledge in Procurement e-tools: SRM, eSourcing and eAuction

- Expertise in using common methods and tools for cost analysis

- Business fluent proficiency in English

- Readiness to travel both nationally and internationally
