We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
We are expanding our Italian team and looking for two International Education Managers to grow Cambridge International Education in Northern and Southern Italy.
They will develop and enhance relationships with our existing and potential schools and book Distributors across the Country.
This role will involve extensive travel in the region, and we may require attendance to events during the weekend.
Those posts are home-based.
**About the role
You will be part of a team whose role is to develop business for Cambridge International Education in Europe.
The role will be varied and will involve prospecting new schools as well as supporting existing schools.
It will also involve presenting and promoting the range of qualifications and learning resources that Cambridge offers.
This could be through presentations at events and conferences or one-to-one meetings with school leaders, teachers and book Distributor network of Agents.
This is a new role within the existing team which is about developing and expanding our take-up and business.
This will include:
- Working with existing schools to understand their needs and to develop plans to meet those needs.
- Prospecting and introducing Cambridge to schools which are not yet implementing Cambridge programmes or using our learning resources.
- Working with the Italian Distributor and its network of Agents
- Building relationships and supporting schools with school visits
- Presenting on Cambridge International Education developments - both qualifications and learning resources.
- Promoting Cambridge International programmes, qualifications, and support on all stages of the Cambridge Pathway
- Dealing with enquiries from new and existing schools and undertaking School Approval Visits
- Assisting at existing events and developing new events.
**About you
You are an effective communicator in English and in Italian (at C2 level), skilled in building relationships, and will have credibility representing Cambridge International Education effectively with school principals, senior managers, teachers, and book distributors.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of Cambridge International programmes and learning resources, and the international and national education environment in Italy.
You have a proactive and well-organized approach to work and will enjoy working in close collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization to help drive success.
Preferably, you will be educated to degree level and in possession of a driving license.
