FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - ITThe Field Engineer will be responsible for covering primarily Central and South of Italy including Sicily. Ideally the successful candidate will be based either in Rome, Siena or Florence; however, alternative locations within the territory may be considered.

Job SummaryThe Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

Meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Compliance with field service technical standards is required. Monitoring of field service policies, procedures, standards, and company policies and procedures is mandatory. Requires travel on short notice; overnight travel may be required depending on service region requirements. Service is provided Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 8 a. m. and 6 p. m. , occasionally requiring extended workdays. Key Responsibilities and DutiesMaintain inventory of parts and supplies. Install and repair scientific instrumentation manufactured by Luminex Corporation at customer locations within a multi-state geographic region. Manage an expense account, service tools, and spare parts inventories. Interface daily with internal and external customers. Utilize the CRM system to capture full documentation of all calls and enter appropriate codes to ensure accurate history of reporting trends and corrective actions. Meet departmental expectations regarding response time, PM completion rates, service callbacks, and customer satisfaction survey results. Other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities and DutiesEducationAssociate Degree AS, AA, BS Electronics, or demonstrated equivalent. Work ExperienceMinimum One year experience in one of the following: Field Service or In-house Biomed. Preferred Training and SkillsKnowledge of electronic measuring equipment. Ability to work with a team. High mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving/communication skills. Valid Passport or eligibility required. Fluency in English as well as local language of the residential country is required. Occasional travel outside the territory of responsibility (South Italy) may be required.
