International Marketing Manager - Hip
For our International Surgical Hip Business Unit, we are looking for an experienced International Marketing Manager.
The ideal new team member will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing the needs expressed by customers, defining the product vision regionally, and collaborating with other marketing units and the sales team to achieve the department's goals.
The proposal is open to a hybrid work mode, requiring availability for travel to the Italian site (Villanova di San Daniele del Friuli - Friuli Venezia Giulia), as well as willingness to travel for events and conferences, when required.
Accountabilities: Market Analysis: monitor and update market data, analyze competitors, support pricing strategy development, and assess competitor pricing and market share.
Product Development: collaborate with upstream marketing and R&D functions to analyze competitors and product configurations; support new product proposal, identify and manage competitor activities, propose strategies for new and existing product development based on international market needs.
Product lifecycle management: prioritize product and customer requirements, support regional product strategy, and collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing to ensure objectives are met.
Marketing activities: coordinate and participate in promotional initiatives and industry conferences/conventions to market products and services.
Product support: contribute to marketing planning through analysis of marketing plans, competitor sales strategies, market research, reimbursement systems in different countries, sales budgets, and strategic plans; use customer segmentation models and product positioning to optimize marketing strategies.
Sales Support: collaborate with local marketing teams to develop and provide support materials on products and services for field staff.
Medical Education: contribute to training activities according to the relevant RACI matrix.
Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and consultant management: develop and manage relationships with key international opinion leaders and centers of excellence.
Professional and educational background: Master's degree in Marketing and communications, Business Administration, Engineering (preference for Biomedical) or related disciplines; earning an MBA is a plus.
At least 7+ years of experience in the orthopedic or medical device industry, with a background in marketing or a combination of marketing and sales.
Excellent knowledge of English; Italian, German or French as a plus Application with resume in English required.
