The Service Division is looking for an International Service Engineer – Pure Ballast System based in Genoa (other locations will be evaluated).

Who you are Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsFlexibilityWhat about the job The purpose of the job is to help marine customers with field service on Pure Ballast Treatment equipment. Main responsibilities include servicing and re-commissioning of old or existing Pure Ballast Treatment systems.

As International Service Engineer – Pure Ballast System, you will:

Work with the local marine service team but operate on an international level, supporting customers inside and outside your country. Be part of a 24/7 resource pool where job bookings are coordinated globally based on customer service requests. Collaborate with other members of the international marine service team and provide technical support to global specialists and coordinators as needed. Perform local field service jobs when required. Travel internationally to job sites, primarily within your region. What you know Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5-10 years of experiencePrevious experience with Alfa Laval's products is a plusExperience as First or Second Engineer on board shipsStrong experience in automation/system integrationVery good spoken and written English (C1 - C2)Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
