The SchoolFounded in 1999, the Bilingual European School (BES) is the first bilingual school in Milan. It is a Paritarian Primary and Secondary School with Italian and native English-speaking teachers that has been offering a cutting-edge educational approach for years. The Bilingual European School is the natural continuation of the British American Pre-School (BAPS), a "full English" preschool and kindergarten school founded in 1987. The Full Immersion English Programme at BAPS is carefully designed to ensure that children begin their scholastic and personal journey that will accompany them toward goals, satisfaction, and success, providing them with knowledge and skills for a smooth transition to the BES bilingual programme.
