As an International Trainee Program (ELSE) participant, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start.
The exceptional people you work with, the challenging projects you tackle, and the regional scale (EMEA Region) of our business will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in our Service-Electrification division.
The program with a permanent position is made up of three assignments in different roles all in Service division, starting from the month of September: one six-month assignment in the area of Marketing and Sales (region Area) as as an n introduction to the business in Dalmine Plant.
One six-month assignment with different activities in Product Marketing where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.
One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB's operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
**This position reports to**:
Service Sales Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Prepare ABB s Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local Service ProductMarketing&Sales support.
- Elaborating competitive bids/estimations/quotations, taking into account best available product mix and value proposition.
- Analyzing product & market; cooperating with colleagues (i. e.
Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sup-ply Chain, ).
- Marketing&Sales activities: supporting PMS Activities, pricing activities, promote and sell entire service product portfolio; Promote Service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings, ).
- Generate and develop new market or segment opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios; implement service sales strategy in collaboration with the Data analyst specialist, Ser-vice Product Marketing, Marketing&Sales Manager.
- Manage and communicate contract details to the customers.
- Manage administrative sales processes and prepare all required technical documents; ensure technical reliability, safety and cost effective solutions to satisfy customer s needs.
- Collecting and analyzing the reasons for tenders being lost and won; developing customer relationships to understand their needs and to ensure high level of satisfaction.
**Your background**:
- You are a recent graduate (Master's level) in Electro-technical, Management, Information and Production engineering.
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of Sales Force and LV & MV switchgears.
- You master the English language (B2), you have a good knowledge of Italian and other languages are a plus.
- Excellent command of MS Office tools.
- Availability for business trip is required (70%-80%).
- Customer-orientation, excellent skills, problem-solving attitude and ability to work and communicate effi-ciently in a team, proactivity, precision and high motivation, negotiation and build long-term relationships with customers complete your profile.
