Your tasks**:

Based in Milan, you will work as an intern within the Capital Markets - Banks Bonds Origination team that is responsible for the advice of and the strategic dialogue with Financial Institutions in the primary bond market.

The primary task of the team is to originate mandates for new bond issues from FIG clients mainly from Southern and Central & Eastern Europe.

You will support senior team members to identify opportunities across various bond products.

Your support extends to the involvement in the preparation and follow-up of transactions, the composition, pricings and market updates, presentations, investor roadshows and coordination of KYC and other regulatory and administrative topics.

The activities require close coordination with all team members and a range of other functions in the bank such as syndicate, relationship management, sales & trading.

**Your profile**:

We are looking for a person with the following attributes.

- Bachelor's degree, Master's level of studies preferred (or currently close to conclude a Master's degree cycle)

- Concentration / Major in finance / economics or other comparable fields

- Strong communication and analytical skills.

Knowledge of debt instruments and related derivatives is preferred, ideally with some practical exposure to fixed-income capital markets

- Full proficiency in MS-Office, possibly Bloomberg / some basic programming skills are a positive attribute.

- work to a deadline and take initiative.

- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as team spirit and work ethic

- Fluency in English / further European language is an added positive attribute (especially Italian and/or Spanish).
