Internship In Demand & Supply Planning
Position Snapshot
- Nestlé in Italy, Milan HQ
- Undergraduates or graduates in engineering or equivalent. Theoretical knowledge (university level) about Planning and key DSP, Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (Short work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a plus)
- Full-time internship (6 months)
- Start date: October
**Main Purpose of the Job
As support for Senior supply planner, support the replenishment of confectionery products (Kit Kat, After Eigth, Smarties, Perugina ) to the main warehouse with the objective to maintain the optimal stock cover level with a high freshness to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost.
Participate in the implementation of projects to improve inter-functional supply chain processes with the objective of reducing total delivered costs. Development of reporting and analytical tools in Demand & Supply area. Collaboration with the category DSP teams in the day-to-day ensuring supply activities.
**Key Outputs / Deliverables
- Analyze and evaluate the supply plan, agree with producer the best supply profile
- Implement processes improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e. g. : time saving, increased efficiencies, etc. );
**Key Relationships Internal to Nestlé Group
- Customer service, Warehouse, Logistics and Transport
- Demand and IMS planners in the Markets
- Procurement
**What will make you successful
- ** **Management engineering degree or equivalent
- Short experience in Supply Chain/Operations
- Good knowledge of Excel, Power bi (SAP is a plus)
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Collaborate proactively with innovative and constructive approach
- Mental agility, insight, analysis and synthesis
- Fluent English and Italian
