**The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services.

With more than 3. 500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

The team you will be working with is part of MW X-Haul System Test Tribe.

We desing and develop Radio Links for point-to-point transmissions operating at frequencies between 4GHz and 80GHz.

ST (System Test) is responsible for integration and functional verification of systems made up of different types of radios, digital cards, configuration, management and control tools.

**What you will learn and contribute to

We need to test real systems representing true scenarios of use in the field.

In this context, we want to promote an activity aimed at the design of an automatic test bench to finalize the process described above, guaranteeing efficiency, repeatability of tests, control over time of the maintenance of functionality and performance.

You will learn about:

- physical phenomena that occur in nature and that impact on the quality of the propagation of electromagnetic signals in the air

- countermeasures put in place to counter them

- models made in the laboratory to simulate the behavior of the signal in the air

- main radio configurations supported

- use of laboratory equipment

- design of a test bench capable of switching from one configuration to another without manual operations

- definition of the measures necessary to check the operation of the equipment

- creation of automatic test script implementing the test sequences necessary for verification.

**Your skills and experience

You have:

- Python language

- ROBOT framwork

It would be nice if you also had:

- general knowledge of electromagnetical propagation phenomena

- ethernet technology

- experience in test automation
