Tires Pattern development (STAGE) Job Purpose Joining Consumer Pre-Development to design, develop and validate innovative Pattern (detailed) geometries for the future Bridgestone products.

The candidate will be responsible of the investigation and optimization of the performances of different Tire Pattern geometries while interacting with different type of snow on the road.

Definition, Modelling and Simulation of different variations of geometries aimed to improve current state of the art Pattern design will be the main objective of the selected post holder to be finalized by the identification of new Pattern geometries summarized through the preparation of dedicated technical reports, supported through internal tutoring by the team engineers.

Core Responsibility & Working relationship Operate internal FEM system to validate tires model needed as basement for the Pattern geometries validation. Operate internal FEM system to simulate Tire performance of different detailed pattern geometries on different type of snow. Benchmarking and 3D modelling of state of the art Pattern in the Tire market, through BS internal applications developed in CREO. Design of experiments thinking including data analysis and technical report preparation Day-to day operations within Tire Development process, including the definition of projects to realize the prototypes and organization / analysis of their tests and results. Work effectively with R&D researchers, staff, technicians, and management of Bridgestone EMEA Technical Center, actively taking part to R&D cross-functional teams. Job requirements Master's Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or any other related field of study. Experience in operation and troubleshooting of meshing softwares (Hypermesh mainly) Experience in operation and troubleshooting of simulations softwares (LS-dyna mainly) related to water flow. Experience with software's for 3D modelling (CREO) and meshing. Goal-oriented, motivated, creative and collaborative.

Able to work within teams with strong communications skills. Fluency in written and spoken English
