The resource will join the pre-development team, within the R&D Moto group, with the aim to design, develop and implement new technologies and methodologies to support 360° product innovation. It also coordinates the introduction of innovative and technologically advanced materials in collaboration with the other functions involved in the process.

It is even required to enforce FEA experts to work on a variety of tyre performances (like rolling resistance, wear, NVH, durability, force and moments) and contribute to the development of simulation and analysis tools.

The pre-development function receives marketing project targets and defines with a project management vision, the necessary budget and the schedule of development.

**Activities and responsibilities**:

Pneumatic study, design and validation

Finite element analysis related to tread behavior

Design of experiment

Pneumatic modeling, kinematic models, vehicle dynamics

Working in collaboration with the testing group to study new testing methodologies

**Skills and Knowledge required**:

Master degree Mechanical/ Aeronautical / Engineering

Background in finite elements techniques (implicit & explicit, preferably Abaqus)

Background in programming languages like Python/Matlab for automation of pre and post-processing tools

**Background in the following area is preferred**:

- Contact mechanics

Knowledge of vehicle dynamics

Good Knowledge of Office Suite or equivalent

Good organizational skills

Problem solving skills

Creativity and design culture

English Fluency (B2-C1)
