Internship - Programme Unit
WORK CONTEXT
CESVI is an independent Italian humanitarian organisation, founded in Bergamo in 1985.
CESVI operates worldwide to support the most vulnerable populations in promoting human rights and achieving their ambitions, for sustainable development.
We are currently seeking an **Intern** to join the **Programme Unit** in one of our **Field Regional Offices - Tunis or Nairobi** (specific location to be confirmed).
**Posizione**:

The **Intern** will report to the **Regional Manager**.
**SCOPE OF POSITION
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian project management and field operations within an international NGO setting.
**Key Responsibilities
The intern will provide support in the following areas:
- **Project Design & Proposal Development**:
- **Project Monitoring & Reporting**:
- **Participation in Cluster & Coordination Meetings

**Requisiti**:
**REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in International Relations, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, humanitarian assistance, social work, human rights, international law and/or Cooperation and development or another appropriate field
- Knowledge of project cycle management
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, able to take initiative.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work cooperatively
- Capacity in networking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitates a collaborative environment among colleagues and stakeholders to promote effective coordination
- High level of IT skills (Office package)
- Ability and willingness to work in remote as well as in the field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
**SAFEGUARDING
CESVI has a zero-tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, a child or a vulnerable adult by any of our staff, related persons or partners.
Cesvi commitment to being a safe organization begins with the staff recruitment process which includes meticulous checks, such as criminal records checks or check disclosure of previous convictions, to ensure children and vulnerable people are safeguarded and abuse is prevented.
Safeguarding checks are part of the selection process performance.
**HEALTH SAFEGUARDING
CESVI pays particular attention to safeguarding the health of all the human resources of the Organisation.
Therefore, in order to protect its staff, an assessment of their suitability for the position in each mission is carried out before departure.
Such assessment is done by the Occupational Doctor of the Organisation, who will also examine the vaccination coverage.
