RAW MATERIALS ANALYST

The resource will be part of the Raw Materials Purchasing team based in our Headquarter in Milan.

The team's main mission is to set the strategic procurement guidelines in line with the company strategy, guaranteeing the availability of raw materials while minimizing its impact on cash flow and costs, also monitoring market trends on the short and medium term.

The decisions taken by this team affect the strategies implemented by the group overall.

The resource will also look after the management of the purchasing process with activities such as:

- Support the lead-buyer certifying Market analysis and Trends

- Assist the RM Team in the Short and Long term strategy development and implementation for each Raw Material

- Preparation of monthly price forecast

- Raw Materials value chain analysis

- Daily collection and issue to the manager of all the data needed for monthly reporting

- Maintaining archive of historical data

- Research and gather information related to feedstock market and global trends analysis

- Global economy analysis

- Importation statistics

- Competitors information

- Reporting and control activities

Furthermore, some activities will also involve suppliers management:

- Monitoring the service level of the assigned suppliers, evaluating their performances (Vendor Rating process)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Engineering / Economics

- Fluent English.
