R&D Junior Reinforcement Technologist

1.

to support têxtile composite industrialization processes in all Pirelli operating units also through dedicated missions.

This activity will require a strong collaboration with colleagues at plant to identify proper conditions for material process ability

2.

to evaluate the development in collaboration with central laboratory of characterizations to better qualify and predict material behavior

3.

to contribute at the development of a predictive model per semi-finished material trough needed characterizations

4.

to establish and maintain relations with colleagues from other Central Material Functions (mainly Compounding and Laboratories), from Central Process Group, from Central Quality and Purchasing Function and from local R&D and Quality organizations

5.

to Participate to training sessions & courses

Tecnical competence and Skills

1.

Degree physic or material science or engineering.

2.

Basic Material Science knowledge

3.

Good knowledge of Physical Characterization of Materials

4.

Excellent English knowledge (written / oral)

5.

Good ownership of the assigned task as well as strong attitude to work on team

6.

Open-mindedness as well as attention at details

7.

High level of adaptability and capacity to deal with multiple tasks inside a scenario of high level of technical and strategic complexity

8.

Good communication skills and strong multicultural orientation

9.

Flexibility for frequent missions WW

Good balance between theoretical and practical skills
