Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser Coordinator to join our team in Milan.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales activities, managing inventory, and supporting the sales team to achieve business objectives.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise sales activities to ensure sales targets are met. Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and training of sales staff. Address issues related to pricing, product delivery, and customer complaints. Oversee inventory and stocking to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of company goals, vision, and values to align priorities accordingly. Collaborate with sales management to develop effective sales strategies and set targets. Perform administrative tasks, including filing and inventory management. Maintain strong client relationships to foster business growth and customer retention. Assist sales managers in planning and organizing periodic sales meetings. Monitor and evaluate sales staff performance to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement training programs to enhance team efficiency. Professionally represent the company in meetings and customer interactions. Present and demonstrate company products/services to potential clients. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and regulations. Prepare and distribute weekly sales reports internally. Create PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use. Attend client meetings both abroad and within Italy. RequirementsA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Fluent/native English and Italian speaker (Mandatory). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP are mandatory). Good experience with PowerPoint. Any knowledge of programming is a plus. Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus.
