As an Inventory Planner, you will collaborate with various departments, including customer service, sales operations, and logistics, to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with business goals and market service targets, through a dedicated DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) tool.
ResponsabilityCoordinate with the local planning teams, about the product inventory strategies, and according to the demand and market trends (both for the main HUB and for the 2nd level Distribution Centers)Maximize the availability and allocation of products, in coherence with sales order collection, both for carryovers and new collections. Responsibility on the Inventory and service level Reporting updateResponsibility and monitor of weekly/monthly service level KPIs for the definition of the market sales turnover (and definition of corrective measures in case of products unavailabilities), based on the use of the commercial priorities Responsibility and monitor inventory levels and address correctives actions with local organizationRequirementsMaster degree in Economics/Statistic or Engineering/scientific disciplines (or equivalent)2-3 years of experience in an equivalent roleUnderstanding of the Supply Chain functions and S&OP process, with a good commercial awarenessProject Management methodologiesAbove average experience in using ERP management systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and BI ToolsWorking knowledge of Advanced Planning software (demand planning and inventory management is preferred).
Considered as a plus the knowledge of SO99+ (ToolsGroup) and of Cyberplan (Cybertech)Fluent level of spoken and written EnglishIn-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysisAbility to communicate effectively across multi-levels of the organizationCapability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environmentAbility to articulate ideas and influence agendaStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a dead-line driven environmentMarcolin guarantees equal opportunities.
