Investment Director
Regional Director, Investment Strategy Direct interaction with clients in support of Sales providing detailed product education, methodology expertise, analysis, such as risk and return attribution, single or multiple index comparative returns analysis, holdings analysis, ESG, factor, carbon and business involvement characteristics. The Role Build strong, positive relationships with integral external groups. Coordinate engagement with external sales teams in the region. Partner closely with the PR and Marketing Team to be the leading expert for media and event engagement in your region. Design, elaborate and execute thought-provoking strategies working with internal and external marketing and PR teams on promotional plans to ensure that strategies are coordinated within your region. Serve as a speaker/participant at Group sponsored and industry conferences as needed. Follow up on client engagements and requests, monitoring execution and tracking pipeline of opportunities. Generate leads through engagement with key stakeholders within Customers as well as awareness and attendance of industry events, seminars, etc. Develop direct high-level customer relationships (especially C-level) with decision makers and influencers with Customers and 3rd parties. Act in an advisory capacity to our clients around the challenges that they face, and how they can or could use our products and technology to solve them. Coordinate with the Head of Distribution to establish your roadmap of initiatives that align with product, sales, and corporate goals. Maintain check-in points, and self-report successes and challenges on these strategies. Develop and manage a pipeline of recurring / outright opportunities and update information on items within the CRM systems, keeping orders and information flow up to date and accurate. Execute sales campaigns and dynamically involve clients on major Group initiatives (seminars, events, surveys). Identify and anticipate client requirements, expectations, and needs and be an authority in your client segment. Think creatively around market themes and trends and clearly communicate Group investment ideas and research to clients and prospects. Harness the expertise of our internal specialists (e. g. capital markets, research, product development) in order to deliver an entrepreneurial consultative investment strategy to clients. Bring live feedback on competitor dynamics, industry trends and make recommendations to internal partner groups. Provide regular, meaningful and structured feedback on all activity and customer issues to the Head of Distribution. Respond to client queries, requiring broad product knowledge, coordination across specialist teams, and ability to leverage external resources. Creation of regular investment content and maintenance of it (client decks, product brochures, monthly emails). Create and coordinate investment insights around cryptocurrency investing (performance attributions, etc. ). Demonstrate a mindset which is aligned with Customers' short and long-term strategic aims. Create and oversee new content for product launches (client decks, product briefs, competitor positioning, Portfolio Implementation) in combination with Product Marketing. The person Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required; and/or Masters/CFA a plus. 5 years industry experience, specifically extensive investment management knowledge and experience. Extreme attention to detail a must with strong analytical skills. Strong research skills: ideally proven experience in working with ETF or Investment Research.
