**Position Summary

**Are you a talented IS/IT Technology Expert ready to join Nestlé's Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing Services team in Milan, Italy?

We need you to perform studies, to help to define the technological directions, to support the delivery and the sustainability of Remote Access and Application Publishing Solutions for Connectivity Product.

**A day in the life of. . . an IS/IT Technology Expert - WAN Connectivity & RAS

- Supports the integration of solutions with various technologies.

- Delivers the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex innovation initiatives, accountable to the Innovation or Product Manager for the delivery and quality of technical deliverables.

- Provides the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision.

- Participates in the development or review of standards, documentation, and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise.

- Performs preliminary studies, general systems specifications, and detailed systems specifications.

- Ensures solution operational readiness and defines global procedures and processes for operations in the area of expertise.

- Ensures IS/IT Customer and Consumer requirements are met, and service quality maintained when introducing new products.

Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solutions.

- Responsible for ensuring that remote access services are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements.

- Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommends smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions.

- Participates in peer reviews of deliverables and carries out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation and/or implementations.

- Provides guidance, directions and if needed, technical support to product teams, mentoring and sharing technology knowledge with the teams.

**What will make you successful

- Mandatory experience with **at least 3 **of the following technologies: SSL-VPN, Pulse Secure, Palo Alto Prisma, CheckPoint, Reverse Proxy, and URL rewriting.

- Business and budget savvy, with the ability to understand financial impacts of technology alternatives.

- Proven experience in successfully leading technical evaluations.

- Experience in resolving technical issues, including those involving third parties.

- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.

- Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as agile software development, rapid prototyping and DevOps, project management principles).

- Understanding and knowledge of IS/IT standards and controls.

- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of existing, new and emerging technologies that enable and drive new business designs and models.

- Certifications or formal education in areas related to this position will be considered an asset.
