Ellab is a rapidly growing, global player in validation and monitoring solutions approaching a 1000 people across the globe.

To support our rapid expansion, we're looking for an IT Administrator based in Milan to join our global IT team to act as primary support for our Italian branch and help with cross-country initiatives. What will you be doing in the role?

You're joining Ellab during an exciting period of rapid growth, both organically and through acquisitions.

These expansions have resulted in a diverse and fragmented IT landscape, with significant variations across different countries.

To address this and achieve a globally unified IT environment, we aim to implement strategic changes to integrate our IT resources and streamline operations.

This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the global IT landscape and contribute to delivering scalable solutions. The role will be the sole IT person physically located in Italy and will therefore entail tasks ranging from 1st level support of laptops and phones, to managing the local network and server footprint in collaboration with your colleagues in other countries and beyond. Given the global nature of the company and our IT organisation regular (at least quarterly) travel within Europe is to be expected.

Likewise, domestic travel in Italy between our offices (Rome, Milano, Stabio) is expected. Skills and mindset you'll bring to EllabThe IT landscape of Ellab is predominantly Microsoft based.

This means experience with Microsoft 365, PCs/Windows and Windows Server is essential.

Likewise, experience with technologies such as Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Active Directory is highly beneficial.

Having worked with IT at the enterprise level and having a mindset of automation and scaling of processes will help you thrive and succeed in this role. The role will manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, including providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware (computers, mobile phones and all IT devices) and software issues for employees and gaining knowledge of the Ellab software for customers. Experience with networking equipment (firewall, switches, access points), business continuity solutions and security software are a plus but not a requirement.

You'll work independently, as your colleagues from the IT global Team will be remote.
