Job Description: IT EXPERT FINANCE APPLICATIONS About the Job The IT Expert will be involved in the application maintenance and new developments for the systems used by Allianz Italy companies for general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, controlling, consolidation and regulatory reporting, tax, procurement, and real estate, based on SAP and Tagetik, according to local and group principles, IFRS16 and IFRS17 included.

Will be part of a team in close cooperation with the other IT areas, with the aim to guarantee defect-free applications availability and on-time/on-budget delivery of new developments.

You will report to the IT application manager, also proactively supporting him on international initiatives, that will involve IT and business to define how to converge towards common processes and platforms according to local requirements while maintaining local specificities.

The ideal candidate should have a good background in insurance finance operations with a focus on accounting functions, and IT expertise in IT for finance applications.

What you do Maintain and monitor systems and applications in scope, support the business to meet deadlines Assure compliance with the internal procedures and policies Ensure that new implementation and projects are planned and executed in line with business strategy and group IT standards What you bring Knowledge of insurance accounting and in particular IFRS related principles with a good background in IT applications and systems, with a focus on SAP Knowledge of Software Lifecycle, Agile, and Waterfall Successful teamwork experience and leadership abilities to manage IT teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as a strong, goal-oriented mindset with initiative, autonomy, proactivity, and problem-solving abilities English Professional level Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology Valuable experience (at least 2-3 years ) working in insurance finance operations What we offer We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working, including up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
