WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for an IT FS Retail Application Specialist to join our team.
In the IT Financial Services Retail perimeter, the candidate manages autonomously the implementation of new IT platforms and, on a daily basis, ensures support and continuous improvements to the existing IT landscape, in line with the expected SLAs.
The candidate manages the relationship with the Financial Services business process owners.
The candidate is the main IT reference for the IC Financial Services Retail Business of the Italian branch.
Therefore, knowledge and good understanding of the Italian local regulations is a must.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES: Assure Financial Services business process expertise and guidance on related systemsConduct feasibility studies for new tools implementationsInvestigate and recommend improvements to existing systems and operation methods to provide integration, standardization, and conversion of new systems in line with company and group strategyAnalyze current programs, systems, procedures and practices with emphasis on continual improvements. Plan, design, test, document, and implement complex system enhancements or new systems according to specifications and company standard by handling constraints in terms of timing, budget and resources (both internal and IT software suppliers). Ensure compliance with both IT Quality internal processes and recommendations received by external Regulators, Auditors etc. Manage the performance and relationship with external IT suppliers. EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS: Financial Services / Banking business process knowledge and/or related systems implementation, with focus on the loan/leasing/rental businesses. Knowledge and good understanding of the Italian banking regulations. Minimum 5 years of work experience in all phases of software implementation (requirements, design, development, testing, support). University degree in engineering - IT area, computer science or equivalent experience. Proficient with MicroSoft365 tools and computer skills. Project Management solid backgrounds. Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical colleagues. Willingness to learn new IT systems/platforms and upskilling. Preferred: ITIL processes knowledge. Experience/knowledge of business reporting / analytics. Databases knowledge. Agile methodology knowledge. AS400 knowledge would be appreciated.
