The Business Analyst in IT integration consists in gathering, analysing and challenging whenever needed, the various Business domains' requirements ensuring these are properly passed on and understood by the technical team.

Throughout the entire process development life cycle, he/she will ensure that the product meets company goals, business needs and high-quality levels.

He/she will take a proactive role to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved on the following key criteria:

Data and Product quality (flexibility, usability, reliability)

Service quality (communication, usage of methodology throughout the product life cycle, documentation, products delivery in accordance with delivery time)

Communication within the company and with MSC clients to ensure awareness and acceptance of people on these projects

His/her analytical skills will allow him/her a) to thoroughly understand the system's functionality and design, and b) to write specifications on new functionalities /change request as required by business units.

Key Responsabilities

Leadership

Define IT integration requirements in the context of the OneVision Program, ensure documentation expectations are covered in the form of functional specifications, message interface guides and mappings documents

Throughout the requirements definition, identify changes to existing working practices and initiate change propositions that can be taken up by the business

Analyze the solution proposal functionally to verify coverage of expectations

Define MSC integration standards in coordination with clients, agencies and IT team

Support projects leaders and external clients regarding the implementation of messages in their respective domains

Lead and support a team of analysts to achieve the goals respecting de deadlines

Contribution

Formalize MSC's IT requirements into general and detailed specifications that can be used by systems development teams

Formalize Message Interface Guide that can be used by Third Party Partners

Formalize messages transformation mapping specifications and corresponding logic to the development teams

Ensure optimal and efficient support to the clients inproduction

Work closely with other IT integration Business analysts' members located in Chennai, India

Participate (working with his/her Workstream, Project Manager, IT Director, Business experts and program management) in the definition of MSC program scoping exercises, breaking down the functional scope of the program into consistent modules

Be a contributor within implementation phase of projects, providing a training capability and expertise in the use of the process / system

Be a contributor in the development of support and training materials

Work closely with digital innovation and developers to achieve the above and provide products that are considered best of bread

Prepare, facilitate and/or lead workshops with the Business and IT experts as required by the program, to meet program's objectives

Develop a mutually respectful working relationship with all staff in to ensure a strong team effort in all activities

Mobilize, set in motion and synchronize various business experts required Importante Azienda the program lifecycle

Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to all program customers' questions and inquiries in a positive and constructive manner

Remain current on trends in the maritime and BPM industry by reading related magazines and periodicals and participating in related seminars as required
