**About the Role

The ICT&Digital department plays a key role in supporting the business by implementing and managing state-of-the-art technological solutions.

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our ICT Governance team in the role of Budget & Cost Controller.

As an intern in the IT department, you will be responsible for budgeting, cost control and cost management within the IT function.

Working closely with the Finance and Control team and the heads of the various IT Competence Centres, you will help to optimise financial control processes and ensure that expenditure is managed efficiently and in line with business objectives.

This experience will give you a comprehensive view of the economic dynamics of an IT department and will allow you to develop your skills in cost analysis and management.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to the collection and analysis of IT cost data, including operational expenditure, investments and projects.

- Support the planning and monitoring of the IT budget, ensuring that expenditure is in line with forecasts.

- Monitor expenditure trends against the approved budget, identify variances and prepare reports for IT managers.

- Support the implementation of tools and processes to improve the effectiveness of management control within the IT department.

- Contribute to the preparation of regular reports to senior management on the financial performance of the IT department.

- Ensure that budgeting and forecasting processes are aligned with business policies.

**What You Need to Be Successful

- Degree in economics, finance, management engineering or related disciplines (or in progress).

- Interest in ICT and the economic and financial management of a technology department.

- Good analytical skills and familiarity with financial data analysis.

- Familiarity with budgeting and management control tools (e. g.

Excel, ERP tools).

- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various business functions.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

- Proactive and willing to learn in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent level of English
