It Manager
Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting an IT Manager for a multinational leader in the renewable energy sector. This key role involves managing and optimising the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision, ensuring efficient IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the organisation's servers, ensuring security, performance, and regular data backups. Manage telecommunications systems and digital platforms, supporting seamless business operations. Lead the deployment of a cloud-based ERP system (Microsoft 365), coordinating with external consultants. Provide support for legacy systems, including desktops, laptops, and servers. Evaluate and implement new IT solutions to meet business and sustainability goals. Maintain an inventory of software licenses, ensuring regulatory compliance. Develop actionable reports to guide decision-making processes. Establish best practices for maintaining and enhancing online platforms, including training staff. Deliver technical support to employees, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Monitor database performance, implement security measures, and manage recovery protocols. Design and enforce policies for data sharing and database management. Utilise technology to optimise the company's online presence and analyse engagement data. Plan and manage IT services and projects aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals. Maintain internal IT systems, ensuring cybersecurity, hardware updates, and software functionality. Research and adopt emerging technologies to improve communication, productivity, and efficiency. Conduct end-user training sessions to enhance staff competency. Requirements: A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. At least five years of experience in IT management, preferably within a fast-paced, international environment. Solid understanding of IT systems, security principles, and modern technological trends. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
