As we prepare for the grand opening of Corinthia Rome, we're looking for a talented and hands-on IT Manager to take full ownership of the hotel's IT systems and technology infrastructure.

Your Role: As the IT Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for all things IT at the hotel.
You'll take full responsibility for managing the hotel's technology setup, from network infrastructure to system security.
This is a key role, where you'll be working closely with the Head Office IT team to ensure all systems are aligned with corporate standards and that operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain IT systems: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware systems throughout the hotel.
Ensure all systems are set up for maximum efficiency and security. Network & Infrastructure Management: Design and implement the hotel's network infrastructure, including IP networks, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC VPNs, and routing.
Ensure reliable and secure communication systems are in place. Security & Compliance: Ensure the hotel's network and data security systems are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
Monitor systems for any vulnerabilities and take proactive measures. Systems Administration: Manage essential systems such as Oracle Opera PMS, Simphony POS, Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Office 365, and hotel-specific applications (Adaco, BOH systems).
You'll also handle backups, antivirus, and data protection. Collaboration with Head Office IT Team: Work closely with the corporate IT team to ensure alignment with Corinthia Hotels standards, including software updates, new system developments, and troubleshooting. Procurement & Budgeting: Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. Continuous Improvement: Research and implement innovative IT projects to upgrade the hotel's tech infrastructure, enhance security, and streamline operations. Tech Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day technical support for all IT-related issues across hotel departments.
Ensure systems are optimized for performance and reliability. What We're Looking For: Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a managerial IT role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, and software.
Familiarity with systems like Oracle Opera, Simphony, Microsoft Windows Server, and VMware is a must. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to think on your feet and provide creative, cost-effective solutions to technical challenges. Autonomy: As the sole IT specialist, you must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently, managing your time and priorities effectively. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in a clear, user-friendly way. Why Corinthia Rome?
