Ecolab is seeking a brilliant **IT Client Support Intern** in **Settimo di Pescantina (VR) - Nuova Farmec Plant** to provide day to day support to IT users, resolving incidents and requests.

- Reporting to the Regional Client Services Team Lead

- Responsible for providing basic support to IT users.

- Use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems.

- Using remote control software to provide onsite and cross-border support (EU).

- Conduct regular interaction with IT users.

- Participate in IT projects and work collaboratively with project team members.

- Work with other support functions on projects and activities related to IT.

- Liaise with partners and vendors on IT related user support.

- Conform with ITIL processes and ensuring that all incidents are addressed efficiently, and proper system logging is maintained.

**Key responsibilities

- Perform basic incident and problem analysis as required to resolve incidents and requests

- Perform hardware and software change requests as assigned

- Perform implementation support as required

- Support daily IT operations

- Attend end user meetings as requested to provide local support

- Work with IT and global support teams - act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level

- Install and maintain local infrastructure as required

**Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant area

- Good spoken and written proficiency in English

- Fluent proficiency in Italian

- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and problem analysis

- Customer Focus / Service skills

- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize workload and complete responsibilities on time

- Ability to be a team player

- Willingness to learn and to follow instructions / procedures

**Skills and Knowledge

- MS Office 2010/O365 and Windows 10

**Additional advantage would be the knowledge of**:

- Remote Softwares (e. g.

Bomgar )

- Local client configurations including SMS, SAP GUI

- VPN, remote/wireless access connectivity configuration and maintenance
