Galileo Global Education Italia is looking for a: IT Senior Application Integration EngineerThe IT Senior Application Integration Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, development and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, hardware and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the GGE Italia & Institutions serving as an API and integration evangelist, acting as a trusted advisor in guiding towards the realization of the business outcome. Key purpose of the role:Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks and processDesign, develop, prototype, and deliver APIs, integrations and applications to include commercial or open-source integration platforms in varied deployment models (cloud-based, on-premise or hybrid), to respond to GGEI & Institutions needs for cost-efficiency, competitive offering, and agility to react to new business opportunitiesBuilding and delivering Proofs of Concepts (PoCs)Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of projectDevelop and maintain an application integration architecture blueprint for the organizationLead the continuous improvement of business processes, practices and delivery of change managementPartner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architecturesMonitor integrations performance and apply improvementsWork with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise ArchitectureAct as the technical expert ensuring assistance with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolutionIdentify gaps in available integration services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolveRequired Skills:A passion for all things tech and has a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the businessExpertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project managementAbility to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same timeExperience with Agile methodologies, as well as more traditional structured approachesKnowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices.
