- Regional IT Services (RITS) Southern Europe - IT Specialist

Join our "Regional Infrastructure Services" team, where your role will be to manage the local IT infrastructure support team in the country, support the business, and participate in possible local or regional projects in collaboration with Infrastructure operations team.

In Regional IT Services Southern Europe, we currently employ multiple skilled IT employees spread out in more than 11 countries.

You will join a strong Regional IT team, supporting locally the DSV operations.

The location of this role is placed in our DSV head office in the country.

You will report to the Senior Team Lead infrastructure services in the country.

When joining the "Regional Infrastructure support" team, you will be part of a team with high ambitions.

Role & Activities:

- Local infrastructure support

- IT asset support

- Installation of local servers ( Windows 2016 and 2019 environment)

- Support local VMware environment

- 2nd line support of local infrastructure operations tickets and managing the DSV ticketing tool.

- Manage local infrastructure projects to deliver and open new offices, warehouse in Italy

- Collaboration for regional or local project with Global IT infrastructure team

- Collaborate with local infrastructure support team to support the business in the infra operations area.

Responsibility:

- Ensure correct support on new sites implementations to the business

- Ensure correct support for the Italian Servers

- Report any issue that could significantly impact the business to the team leader or manager in the country.

- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders

- Enable the standardization from infrastructure perspective

- Plan and execute activities supporting development of the business and standardization of IT

- Support in the day-to-day business incidents as the rest of team members of the infrastructure team

Qualifications and requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent Computer Science studies.

- 5 years' experience in similar roles

- Background in IT and / or have managed IT projects

- Structured and professional

- Communicate easily with all kinds of stakeholders

- Deliver flexible solutions to the business based on DSV standards

- Capacity to manage high stress situations
